NOTE to Artists working/residing in the city of San José and surrounding south bay communities: Please consider attending the City of San José City Council Budget Hearing Special Meeting, Monday June 12th, 2017, 6:00 p.m. – Public Hearing, Council Chambers, San José City Hall, 200 E Santa Clara Street, San José, CA. This is a Public Hearing on the 2017-2018 Proposed Operating/Capital Budgets and the 2017-2018 Proposed Fees and Charges for the City of San José. The presence of artists in the council chambers will demonstrate to the mayor and city council members that funding for the arts are important, necessary, and should not be diminished.
