International Call for Entries: 8th Annual Lumen Prize for Art & Technology

From their call: The Lumen Prize for Art and Technology’s Call for Entries 2019 is now open with a prize fund of $11,000.
Now in its 8th year, The Lumen Prize has already awarded over $70,000 in prize money. Through our parent, Lumen Art Projects, we have staged over 45 exhibitions featuring Lumen artists in 15 cities worldwide, including London, New York, Shanghai, St Petersburg, Beijing, Cardiff and Athens.
The 2019 Prizes are:
- Gold Award ($4000)
- Moving Image Award ($1000)
- Still Image Award ($1000)
- XR Award ($1000)
- 3D/Interactive Award ($1000)
- The BCS Artificial Intelligence Award ($1000)
- The Rapoport Award for Women in Art and Technology ($1000)
- Photomonitor Student Award ($500)
- People’s Choice Award ($500)
All longlisted artists are eligible for the People’s Choice Award which will open for a public vote in August. All longlisted, finalists and award winners are eligible for Lumen exhibitions, commissions and events globally.
There is an administration fee of US$48 to enter which covers two entries. Any additional artwork is US$24. As a not-for-profit based in the UK, all entry fees go directly towards the prizes and events program. Full-time students may enter the Photomonitor Student Award for free.
