Jonathan Ferrara Gallery (LA), International Call for Entries: 21st Annual NO DEAD ARTISTS Juried Exhibition

Deadline: June 16th, 2017

The Jonathan Ferrara Gallery proudly hosts an annual call for artists for NO DEAD ARTISTS. Each year exhibition participants are selected by an ever-changing group of three prestigious arts professionals. To commemorate the 20th iteration, the exhibition will run for two months (August + September) including an opening in conjunction with Whitney White Linen Night which brings over 50,000 patrons to the gallery and Arts District of New Orleans.

No Dead Artists is open to living, emerging to established artists working throughout the world. All mediums are accepted including, but not limited to, painting, sculpture, design, glass, metalwork, photography, video, mixed media and installation art.

The exhibition was created in 1995 to give a voice to emerging artists. Now in its 20th year, No Dead Artists has become an exhibition that has time and again discovered new and emerging talent and is one of the most celebrated art exhibitions in the South.

As the Grand Prize, one jury-winning artist is awarded a solo exhibition at Jonathan Ferrara Gallery to take place the following year.

2017 Jurors: Gia Hamilton (New Orleans, LA) – Director of Joan Mitchell Center, Independent Curator (Atlanta Biennial 2016)
Bettina Stiewe (San Francisco/Bay Area, CA) – Co-Founder of Upstart Modern Art Consulting and Artist Management Firm
