Exhibition Proposal for Summer 2016
The New Mexico State University Art Gallery invites proposals for solo, group, and curated exhibitions, highlighting the use of new media including but not limited to: interactive and fine art video installations, multimedia performances, single channel video, animation, digital dome programs, experimental documentary, web based/app art forms, architectural mapping, the oculus rift, robotics and 3D printing. This exhibition will be presented as part of the annual New Mexican festival “Currents: New Media New Mexico”, which aims to showcase new media forms in art. Proposals will be accepted for exhibitions which fill the full University Gallery space, or which are created for sections of the gallery space (please see gallery floor plan to reference any specific layout of gallery space.) The exhibition will run May 26th, 2016 – July 23rd, 2016.
Exhibition proposals are open to all students, as well as amateur and professional artists. Entry fee.
