Prairie Ronde Artist Residency (MI), National Call for Applicants: Fall Artist-in-Residence, with stipend

Fall residency dates: October 1st to December 15th

Located in historic Vicksburg, (Michigan, near Kalamazoo) the site of a former paper mill and its 80 acres of property, the Prairie Ronde residency encourages artists to engage in community-building as they hone their practice. The Prairie Ronde Residency is looking for individuals who are highly independent, engaged and curious. They do not limit their residency to any specific medium but, rather, are looking for people who can creatively interact with the space they have to offer and the community of historic Vicksburg.

The program supports artists with a $2,000 stipend, a $500 travel grant, housing and work space, and private use of a car. The residency hosts artists for 4 – 7 weeks.
