Richmond Art Center (CA), Call for California Artists: Graphic Art and Illustration

This exhibition will feature contemporary art by Californian graphic artists and illustrators who express vital messages and explore the concerns of our time. The exhibition is juried by Marvella Muro, Director of Artistic Programs and Education at Self Help Graphics and Art in Los Angeles.

Call for Entry: Artists who live in California are invited to enter. The juror is interested in work by artists who creatively express timely messages and use unique approaches to explore shared issues relevant to local and global communities. Works may include printmaking, comic and sequential art, digital art, and illustration. Artists may submit up to three works and all entries will be juried online. Selected works will be presented in the Community Gallery at the Richmond Art Center in Fall 2019. Entry fee.

Juror Awards: $1,000.

Artwork size may not exceed 68 inches in height. Artwork submissions must be original work created since 2016 that have not previously been exhibited at the Richmond Art Center.
