Project Overview: The San Francisco Arts Commission invites artists and artist teams residing in the United States to submit qualifications for the SFPUC’s new Southeast Community Facility (SECF) Plaza Sculpture Project. This art opportunity is for a large-scale, focal sculpture in the SECF exterior plaza that will be illuminated at night.
Project Budget: Funds for Art Enrichment at the new Southeast Community Facility at 1550 Evans originate from the Sewer System Improvement Program.
Artwork Budget: $975,000
Installation Allocation: $100,000
Community Engagement/Benefit Program Allocation: $25,000
Eligibility: Eligibility is open to professional, practicing artists who reside in the United States. Entries not meeting eligibility guidelines will be withdrawn from consideration.
