San Joaquin Delta College’s LH Horton Jr Gallery (CA), National Call for Artists: Queer Voices

The LH Horton Jr Gallery at San Joaquin Delta College seeks works that explore LGBTQ+ culture, stories, and social constructs that bring greater awareness and understanding of LGBTQ+ expressions of gender identity. Works selected for exhibition will range socially, politically and culturally in representation and perspective to create an active dialogue to the intersecting identities of the LGBTQ+ community.

Entry is free and open to artists residing in the United States and working in any 2D and 3D mediums as well as limited installation, interactive works, and video screenings. This is intended to be a group exhibition of 10 to 12 artists selected through this call for entries and by invitation.

Exhibition stipend: Artists selected for the exhibition will receive a stipend to cover shipping expense and preparation time. Stipends will be negotiated at the time of selection.

The LH Horton Jr Gallery is a non-profit art gallery located on the campus of San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton, California. The Gallery provides excellent exhibition opportunities, with over 2000 square feet of exhibition space, an extended 22 ft. ceiling with mounts, and over 1200 visitors to each exhibition.
