The Artery (CA), Call for California Ceramic Artists: California Clay Competition and Exhibition 2020

Deadline: February 15th, 2020

The Artery, home of the Artists’ Cooperative of Davis, has sponsored the California Clay Competition since 1990 to give California ceramic artists an opportunity to exhibit their work during the California Conference for the Advancement of Ceramic Art established by Natsoulas Gallery. Going on for over 30 years, this has become the ultimate ceramic weekend in Davis for established & emerging artists, students, teachers, patrons & art lovers filled with lectures and demonstrations by contemporary ceramic artists. Other pop-up venues include numerous regional Universities and Colleges which exhibit the work of their ceramic students and instructors.

The CCACA headquarters is located a few blocks away from the Artery at the John Natsoulas Gallery. Along with the CCC show at the Artery, many area galleries will hold artists’ receptions for ceramics exhibits on the opening evening of Friday May 1st, 2020, including the Natsoulas Gallery’s “Thirty Ceramic Sculptors”.
