Deadline: March 15th, 2018
Public Art, Displayed in a Quintessential Los Angeles Medium
From their call: The Billboard Creative (TBC) is accepting submissions internationally from all art disciplines for its 4th annual billboard art exhibition. Our last show brought mass-scale art to 48 billboards throughout Los Angeles, with curated selections from emerging, underrepresented, and established artists. For the 2018 show, we have teamed with Musée Magazine founder and editor Andrea Blanch as curator. TBC and Andrea are passionate about helping emerging and underrepresented artists break through traditional career bottlenecks. Past TBC shows have appeared in the Huffington Post, KCRW’s Art Talk, Creators Project, L’Oeil de la Photographie among numerous other publications.

About: The Billboard Creative (TBC) is a non-profit organization that aims to connect artists with mass audiences. In highlighting an international selection of artists and artworks within the Los Angeles community, TBC hopes to broaden the reach of public art, especially for those whom traditional art exhibitions have proven inaccessible. Above all, the core principle is to create a democratic approach to contemporary art.
