The Merced County Arts Council (CA), Open Call for California Artists: 12th Annual California Centered Printmaking Exhibition

Deadline: March 13th, 2018

Now in its 12th year, the purpose of this juried group show is to highlight and exhibit the best in recent California Printmaking and is open to all printmakers residing in California. Work may be in any traditional printmaking media (except photography) and must have been completed in the last three years. Entry fee.

Eligibility: Open to all printmakers currently residing in California. Work can be in any printmaking media and must have been completed within the past three years.

Juror:  Jamey Brzezinski, Professor Emeritus at Merced College and founder of the California Centered: Printmaking Exhibition. He is a Bay Area visual artist who has been working in the printmaking medium for over 40 years. He has exhibited extensively and has written for Artweek Magazine, in addition to serving as art critic for Bay Area and Central Valley print press.

Of the artists chosen to participate there will be three, best in show awards given, the recipients of which shall receive solo exhibitions during next year’s show.

Exhibition dates: April 10th – May 22nd, 2018
