The Noyes Museum of Art of Stockton University (NJ), Call for Submissions, Juried Photography Exhibition: RAW 2020

The Noyes Museum of Art of Stockton University presents RAW 2020, a juried photography competition in which the top images will be selected for an exhibition on view from January 10th to March 29th, 2020 in the Noyes Museum Galleries at The Noyes Arts Garage of Stockton University located at 2200 Fairmount Avenue in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Photographers are invited to consider the theme for this exhibition, “Sense of Place.” Cultural geographers, anthropologists, sociologists and urban planners study why certain places hold special meaning to particular people or animals. Places said to have a strong “sense of place” have a strong identity that is deeply felt by inhabitants and visitors.
Prizes: Group exhibition for selected work at Noyes Galleries at The Noyes Arts Garage of Stockton University
Juror’s Choice: $600.
Second Place: $350.
Third Place: $200.
Honorable Mention (2) $100.
• Photographers over the age of 18 may apply
• Images in any photographic process (analog, digital, mixed media)
Images submitted must have been taken within the last 3 years
Juror: Lori Waselchuk is a visual storyteller whose photographs have appeared in print and online media worldwide. Her work is exhibited internationally and is part of many collections including the New Orleans Museum of Art, Portland Museum of Art and South African National Gallery. Waselchuk coordinates exhibitions and programs at the Philadelphia Photo Arts Center.
