Wayne Art Center (PA), International Call for Artists: Craft Forms 2019, 25th International Juried Exhibition of Contemporary Fine Craft

thWayne Art Center is seeking submissions for the 25th International Juried Exhibition of Contemporary Fine Craft, in the following mediums: basketry, ceramics, decorative fiber, furniture, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed media, paper, wearable art, and wood. Work created utilizing CAD/CAM technologies and 3D printing tools are also eligible. Selected works will be on display in the Davenport Gallery of Wayne Art Center in Wayne, Pennsylvania from December 6th, 2019, through February 1st, 2020. This year’s juror, Jane Milosch will present $10,000 in prize awards.
Work must have been completed in the last 2 years. (Created after January 1st, 2017). All work must be for sale.
Juror: Jane Milosch is founding director of the Smithsonian Provenance Research Initiative in the Office of the Under Secretary for History, Art, and Culture, Smithsonian Institution. Previously she was Senior Program Officer for Art, directing pan-Institutional art programs, new interdisciplinary initiatives and strategic planning efforts for the arts at the Smithsonian. She completed the Getty Leadership Institute program. Milosch was Chief Curator at the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian American Art Museum, curator of the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art in Iowa, and of the Detroit Institute of the Arts.
